  • Day 29

    Day 29

    Madeline {I found this little sailor dress at the B’ham Kid’s Market.  Minus that it’s not a cape, it reminded me a lot of the children’s book character Madeline.  I glued some old black ribbon onto the dollar store yellow hat to complete the look.}

  • Day 28

    Day 28

    Stella Stewart is working hard in the kitchen and baking away! {Okay seamstresses, please don’t be too critical. The apron is my second thing to sew. It probably would have been better if I had a pattern, some measurements or even a plan in mind. I need to learn to do button holes now, so I don’t have to hide my safety pins with bows!}

  • Day 27

    Day 27

    The gypsy would like to look into her crystal ball and tell you your fortune!

  • Day 26

    Day 26

    Occupy Sesame Street {Disclaimer: This is in no way associated with occupysesamestreet.org nor any other occupy nor anti-occupy movements. We were already going to be an actual “Sesame Street” but then seized a current event opportunity.}

  • Day 25

    Day 25

    “I’ve Been Workin’ on the Railroad” {Added a few white stripes to some old overalls, threw on a bandana and the hat was another party favor. We’ve racked up at these birthday parties!}

  • Day 24

    Day 24

    Day 24 {We cheated again! I figure if she can wear it for two years, then she will wear it for two years.}

  • Day 23

    Day 23

    This is so major. Like total mage. This. Is. Ba-na-nas. Who am I?

  • Day 22

    Day 22

    Annie Oakley! {I could have used some assistance on this one. The cowgirl just wanted to run around shooting her gun and screaming “pow pow..pow pow!!!” By the way, that skirt was mine many years ago.}

  • Day 21

    Day 21

    Lab Rat! We had to be a little punny today=) A Stellaween original.  This could have made a great 80s scary movie!

  • Day 20

    Day 20

    Little Fire Chief  {Yellow ribbon for suspenders, ladybug tutu, hat was a favor from her cousin’s bday party, and the ax may be more grim reaper than life saving hero, but the point is to try to use what we have, so mission accomplished.}
