We couldn’t forget Merle! Yet another loss of a legend this year. I guess we’ve struck a bit of a theme. It could be a little morbid, but it is Halloween after all. And this is our way of paying homage to these incredible musicians. I was lucky enough to get to see Merle a few years back with my mom. He just had this essence of cool. It was a great show and I’m so glad I got to see him.
Obviously, you can see that Harris is Merle. I always loved his guitar strap. And the girls, well they are a couple of his songs. Stella is Okie from Muskogee as she waves Old Glory, wears her leather boots, has a football and some “white lightnin.” And ol’ Scarlett here, well she “turned 21 in prison, doin life without parole. If you spotted the significance in her inmate number, then compliments to you. RIP Merle.
We were getting quite a show! Even with this sorry excuse for a guitar. Pay no mind to the details folks.
There’s Rob stepping in to assist. They were cracking up. I think they had fun with this one.
